I presented a workshop at the 21st Century Learning conference in Hong Kong in Feb and it was quite daunting as there were so many fantastic Digital Literacy Coaches in the room who had helped me - via Twitter - along my own path into this role. I'd put a lot of thought into the presentation and really wanted the attendees to discuss what are the characteristics of good content teaching, good pedagogy, good coaching skills and effective tech integration and then consider how to best combine all this when we engage in learning conversations with our peers to support their practice. It was a real buzz to talk to the other coaches and to build on my own practice. I am new in this role and feel I want to learn as much as I can from others more experienced but ultimately each school context will have its own needs and that is where we all need to start.
