The 3 Digital Literacy Coaches and our Head of Innovative Learning have been planning how to support teachers to interweave Digital Citizenship skills and mindsets into their teaching and learning practice. We are going to make use of the Commin Sense Media resources to create some discussion points for teachers in order to raise their awareness and then consider how to blend these skills seamlessly into their current practice. It is important that our students develop and pracitce good digital citizenship skills, we are the first generation of educators who are dealing with issue of Cyberbullying, Internet Safety, Coyright, Digital Footprint and our young people need to be taught these skills.

I was asked to moderate a chat on Tiwtter for #inzpirED so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to get some ideas from my PLN.

I've put this PowToon together as an intro for our staff or to maybe show on the Digital Signage screens around school.

I've offered to create Free Flow resources for Creative Credit and Copyright and Information Literacy.
